    Drawers drawers drawers. Love ’em.

When my kitchen designer showed me her drawings and the price and I said woah we need to halve that….so I cut the kitchen in half lengthwise- got rid of everything above the bench. Now I am so glad I did. Nothing looming over my head when I’m at the bench, and everything in drawers underneath. Even cups and glasses. It feels light and airy and I do have enough space for everything. There’s one cupboard over the fridge, but otherwise, I’m a top cupboard free zone!

I am seeing these posts are from 2015, yet I just got this today. Maybe this is the update. But ,,,,,two years planning a kitchen. Really ??? anyway, your layout is my kitchen. I love it. Yours is a little bigger but I wish mine had a little more counter space. I do have an island, just not a piano………..My kitchen really is only big enough for one person but I hate a kitchen that has lots of floor space with appliances all spread out. This layout works great. Next item—-whats new with the kittens. You inspired me to look for a kitten again. My dear cat died at age 20 a couple of years ago and I would love a kitten. I actually am drawn to the tuxedo cats you foster. I am looking on the pet site. I live in Chester County. Carry on……….
