Do you, babe! What keeps people reading is not just GFTs, (though those are awesome), but your commentary on life and POV…it’s fun, interesting and sometimes heartbreaking. It would suck if you were one dimensional. Think of how much more fun Martha became once she went to jail.

Protesting for the right reasons, just avoid the jailing thing, yes.
You’re not alone, you’re just the one putting it out there. And can we talk about the number of comments on this post? You’re an original, keep ’em coming!!

I always read but don’t always agree….. so everyone has different opinions and how boring it would be if we all thought alike. Sheesh… some people do drive me crazy, but you aren’t one of them!!! Keep at it girl!!! Always remember, some of the people some of the time, but not all the people all of the time.

Thank you for opening my eyes to the abuse circus animals endure. I had no idea but I will be protesting these events from now on. I’m glad that Elvis is doing well right now.

OK, Victoria, so I don’t share ALL of your passions, but I love you anyway. You make me laugh, and sometimes cry. You make me feel like “I’m not alone out here”. Who could ask for more, eh?

I love each and every one of your posts. Please don’t let the people that are unhappy with themselves give you pause for one moment. I hope for a miracle for Elvis. Keep up the great work and the many laughs VEB.

You go! Love your charming, slightly nuts-in a good way, real, well-written, and intellectually curious posts.

As a tiny blogger myself (actually immeasurable) it is difficult to post “enough”! I love that you post once a week and that your content is stellar. thanks for showing a little bit more of you in your passion for these animals. You are making a difference. Bless Elvis!

Hi! Good for you getting your cause out there. We started boycotting American circuses many years ago after going when our kids were little. And we didn’t even need to see the cages…

I love your posts. You are so funny! Your passion for antiques and what you go through to own them is so like me! I love your compliant husband too. You are lucky to have him as a support and he seems so patient with your passions. Elvis has entered my heart and I, too, want him comfortable. He has such a good home with you. I can’t wait to read about your big antique find. When I see your blog update on my email…I immediately go to read it. Thank you!

I love decorating. I love Craigslist. I love GFT’s. And I love your posts. But what I love most about your posts is your sense of humor and your writing style. I will continue to read your blog whatever your write on, not because I always agree with you or am entertained by what you say, but because I think I would like you in person. I don’t always agree with my BFF but I LOVE spending time with her. You’re kinda like that. Someone I choose to spend time with when possible ?

New to the blog, but I love it. And I love that you have arrived at the conclusion that you can write whatever you want on YOUR blog and if people don’t like it, they don’t have to read it. Keep on keeping on 🙂

Ok… once again you’ve done it to me. I love blogs but almost never comment and here I am, commenting on your blog for the 2ND time. 🙂 Everything you said about the additions to your blog are great – book reviews are fantastic (it’s often how I learn about something good!) and I think in general whatever you want to add that isn’t related to the house will be very fun to read. You’re great, so how could it not be! BUT, the really important thing that makes me write today, is for you standing up for the animals. You did it with the down couch and now for the circus animals! I love it!! It makes my little heart swell!!!! As an almost vegan and avid support of animal rights/welfare, I am so happy to see someone like you use your little corner of the world to make a difference. You go girl!! PS: I think of Elvis often and pray for your little family
