10 year anniversary — our wedding day in a 2min video.
When I am incredibly busy and stressed, I like to compound it all by beginning extensive projects other than that which I am supposed to be working on.
I award myself extra points if they are unnecessary, irrelevant, and totally unimportant to anyone but me.
In this case, it was watching ALL of the raw footage from our wedding… As of Friday, Paul and I will be married for 10 years.
Way back when, I got the extra footage from the videographer, but never watched it— until last month when I was swamped and randomly decided it was critical that I make my own wedding recap. NOW.
After watching and editing endless hours of wedding, for days, I would walk up to Paul and hug him randomly and tell him – I love you so much!
Until eventually, Paul said – you are freaking me out. It is like you are stalking me.

You did not say what special plans you have to celebrate – building a replica of Notre Dame in your backyard? Wait – that ‘s not Victorian. Oh never mind.

Aww! I love being able to see two people being genuinely happy together. Congratulations on ten years!
On a related note, I can’t believe I’ve been reading your blog for a year. I found you right around the time of your anniversary last year. I feel like you’ve always been a part of my feed reader.

^^ is a big sap. This was so much fun to watch and don’t ask me why any wedding video – even something as fun as this – makes me get teary. You both look fantastic and boy, you guys can really dance!! Congrats on your 10th! We hit 15 last year and I will say it only gets better (and an added bonus is that by then you’ve really worn them down so he hardly ever questions my crazy ideas any more).

Happy 10th! It will 45 years for us and he has only just now stopped asking why UPS and FEDEX know me so well. Your dancing is sensational — didn’t I see you two in a dancing contest on TV?
