Wow! That was worth a second read! Makes me feel a little less scattered and hopeless. We are in the thick of things now. My husband is saying things like, “maybe we should paint the bathroom wall before Justine gets home.” Justine comes home tomorrow. In the meantime, he just left for yoga. The audacity! We have a party tonight, then a film to see, two cocktail parties tomorrow. And the lights and the swag are not yet up on the front of the house, I have baking to do for all three parties. He thinks we should switch our bedroom with the office, also before she gets home. I still have to clean her room properly. I haven’t even bothered with the bows in the front urn thing. Ideally we’d have an electrician over today. Uhm….and I’m reading your Christmas blog…wondering when my telekinesis is going to finally kick in.

I give Paul total points for turning this into something funny, although perhaps unintentional. You have to love a guy who is on such good terms with his mother in law.
And I loved your idea for bows (can I use the term meth-addled chimpanzee–I have some friends that it applies to).

Oh my goodness my historical friend is back!!! Laughing to the point of tears over here!!
I literally think I am alone in the world…..then you make me feel like I am normal!
I bow to you not as a leader but as a QUEEN!
*side note Paul is a keeper!
Mend fast my Queen we need you out here in the abyss!

On the plus side, the bows are really pretty. For 3.5 seconds I was like, “they turned out so good, I should do that!” and then I realized that I would probably regret that decision. Nevertheless, very pretty.
