I HATE painted trim. The whole upstairs of my house has painted trim! It makes me growl. When repainting you have to decide if you are going to strip or sand the old paint imperfections, or just paint the hell over them. I have lived here almost two years and I am STILL painting trim. Thank goodness the downstairs is all stained wood. I might kill someone with a paintbrush…

I most relate to #596: After looking at 84 homes, we found ‘the one’! And they said ‘yes!’

Except in our case, it was looking at 50 homes, offering on five previous ones and being told no. I ended up putting flyers through the doors of our (well, my) dream neighborhood, asking if anyone was thinking of selling to please contact us. Months later, we were invited for a viewing by a lawyer for the estate of a vacant, dilapidated home that was PERFECT. (Or could be.) The house never went on the market, it was only us and a couple of developers that were ever in the running. When the lawyer called to let us know we were a yes it was a happy, happy moment. (By the way, we did get the house, did fix it up, and I simply adore it.)

I’m always taken aback when I hear your voice on a video. That sweet, childlike melodic voice in no way matches the saucy, comedic genius, Craigslist savvy, sometimes naughty diva picture I have of you in my mind! And I mean all of that in a good way!!!!
