Do you know they host a three-day event?
The pages of Country Living Magazine come to life! Great shopping for antiques, furniture, handcrafted goods, art, vintage and upcycled goods, home and garden decor… Plus Country Livings’s Kitchen and Main stages with demos and presentations by the editors and their guests, live music, how-to’s, and artisan demonstrations throughout the fair.
I’ll be in:
— Rhinebeck NY Sunday, June 4 @ noon, Main Stage (all the fair info is here… final schedule is not up yet– I’ll update when it’s available!)
— Columbus OH Saturday, September 16 @ time tbd, Main Stage (all the fair info is here, no schedule yet)
I will be dancing! Singing! Marching around and twirling a flag and behaving staunchly, while wearing an outfit made entirely of scarves, towels, and an excessive number of vintage brooches… I mean, hello! WHY WOULD YOU DEPRIVE YOURSELF? (do I need to be concerned this reference is lost on you?)
Also, whatevs but you can also see some HGTV people and shop like nine million vendors… incase (weirdly) the thrill of my personality isn’t enough to get you to leave the house.

I saw a large fancy thing at a tea room yesterday and thought of you. No idea if it’s for sale or how much, but the lady is going out of business so may…be. Someone else owns the house so 🤔…??? It was tall/large, 7-ft-ish involved a mirror and carved ladies head. I didn’t get a pic, but going back Saturday, last day before closing the doors. Interested in more?

Oh my goodness, I have always wanted to go to a Country Living fair, now I know I have to go-to meet you! I will try to go to the one in Ohio in September, I live in Kalamazoo MI, so that will be closer. So excited! Giant Fancy Things! Jazz hands! Yay Victoria!

Omg! All my dreams could be fulfilled in Ohio!!?? I never would have guessed that my purpose in life would be realized quickly.

Being from Duchess County originally, seeing this post makes me homesick! I would LOVE to meet you at the Duchess County Fairgrounds! I have so many memories of that fabulous place! I haven’t been to NY since we moved away in 1984. I hope you have perfect weather and a nice turnout. 😘
