I have one of these beds. It was my first big girl bed. My mom bought it in a junk shop in Oregon for $10.00 in the 1960’s. It was also used as a settee in my parent’s house when I got a new bed. They put wedge foam pillows on the back. I have it now in my living room with two large round bolsters I picked up years ago at the MacKenzie-Childs Barn sale in Aurora, NY. Yes the bed is now in upstate NY. I was told it was a Civil War officers bed, not for the battlefield but for encampments. I really love it and thanks for sharing.

I have one of those campaign lounges, and I’m super jealousy of your bed. And how much it cost.

If you’re interested, I have the full size (vs twin) exact bed for sale in TX.
Email me for pics. It also comes with a custom made mattress. It’s a GREAT day bed. We just moved to a tiny house. 🙁
