Ahhh, I remember the good old days when I had a bed where the mattress was too big as well. We propped the side rails up with bricks. It was only a problem when you stubbed your toe in the middle of the night.

As I was perusing the comments to see if you had already answered my question about where you got the gorgeous peach velvet pillows, I saw that several people thought they looked like boobs. Hmm…….. You’re audience has expanded to middle schoolers I guess : ) Anyway, willing to share the source please?

Vintage… I got them at an estate sale. I normally pass on anything upholstered, but I loved them too much to leave them behind. They probably wouldn’t be too hard to DIY, if that kind of thing is appealing to you.

I sure hope my Paul shreds my folder of misdeeds every night.

    Hi Victoria & Paul!
Great video — I too love the dancing! Your bed is perfect in its retrofitted state. 🙂 I had a thought, though: The only thing that could possibly go wrong is if the two of you get too close to the end of it one night (perhaps in a heated passion, with those pillows no less… :)), you all and Elvis might get flung off the bed as it catapults you into the air Wiley-Coyote-style!!!
    Have a great weekend,
Barb in California (but wishing I were out your way where all the good antiques are!)
p.s. As always, thanks for keeping us laughing!

Does the Audiobooks commercial where the announcer says you could “read something steamy while you’re ironing the sheets” drive you up the wall too? BECAUSE WHO 4&^%ING IRONS THE 4*&^ING SHEETS?
